Accommodations
The venue for this year’s convention is the Hampton Inn Downtown San Diego. The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown area a block away from the waterfront and only a couple miles from the San Diego International Airport, the Gaslamp Quarter, the Convention Center and Seaport Village. The County Administration/Little Italy MTS Trolley station is adjacent to the hotel providing easy access to other points of interest and attractions.
The Hampton Inn is offering the following special group rates:
$139.00 + tax Room with one King size bed
$149.00 + tax Room with two Queen size beds
These rates include complimentary American Buffet Breakfast, airport shuttle, local phone calls and high speed internet access.
The hotel offers limited underground parking at a fee of $12.00 per day.
The deadline for making a reservation at the special group rate is September 15, 2008.
Please note that the cancellation policy is a little different from previous years. First night’s room and tax will be charged to the credit card used to hold the reservation for cancellations made within 15 days of the arrival date. Cancellations within 72 hours of arrival date will be charged 100% of their reservation including room and tax for the total number of room nights cancelled.
